I’ve stayed in hotels more than you - I promise. As a tour manager, I’ve seen them all. In my early days I was all about the standard chain brands for the sake of consistency, but these days I prefer something with history and character and that is exactly what the Bigelow, an ascend collection member has to offer. The Bigelow delivers a full experience in the style of the grand old hotels but with great upkeep and modern twist - located in beautiful downtown Ogden. The lobby is amazing and looks like something from a movie set with its marble floors and high ceilings. Check out the ballrooms too for a glimpse into the area’s eloquent past. Enjoyed the little store which is possibly a new addition since my last stay here. Seems like this place is constantly in a state of upgrade as I noticed the brand new sinks and doors in the bathroom. Really enjoyed that the two bedroom suites were in separate rooms as I could snore as much as I wanted to in peace. Decor was beautifully reminiscent of the period. Loved the well stocked premium soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms as well. All of this, couple with a great desk staff keeps me coming back every time we’re in UT. Thanks team for another great experience!

Bigelow Hotel Ogden This hotel has class and vibe, and is a really nice change of pace and breath of fresh air from your typical chain hotel. Loved the jazz music playing as you pull up to the hotel. Hotel concierge was friendly and helpful and check in was super fast. Really loved the historic feel and vintage layout of this hotel, this place has a lot of personality. Even though it’s an old building the place is really up to date and nice. The rooms were huge and beds were ultra comfortable, and I liked that there was a door I could close between the 2 rooms since I’m a light sleeper. The HDTV by the master bed must have been 50 inches which was awesome, and each bed had their own TV. Our room even had a whirlpool with jets which was extremely relaxing and helped get me ready for a extra refreshing sleep! The views of the mountains from my hotel room were breathtaking and were reason enough to stay here! This place is too cool to pass up, any time I come through Ogden again this is where I will stay! 5/5

Our room was very nice, the bed was soft, the furniture handy. The price was good too, and it was refreshing to have such a large suite; so used to hotels that squish you into a tiny space, but there was plenty of room, and to spare. Next time we need to spend the night in Ogden, we'll definitely stay here. If I could choose something to improve, the receptionist was very busy, but we didn't have to wait too long.
