I love Emerys because they truly take a personal interest in your cycling experience. A great base of knowledge and advice is shared freely in conversations that are fun & motivational! Also highly respect Brent's wonderful program to allow physically impaired kids to have the same thrill the rest of us enjoy on their own custom designed bicycles!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this family business!! I had initially gone to Emery’s in Menomonee Falls (where we have gotten all our bikes and bicycle equipment for the last 10 years) because the owner Ben is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and friendly. I had lots of questions about bikes for my autistic son. Ben referred me to Emery’s in Milwaukee, saying that his brother Brent deals with and is very knowledgeable about adaptive bikes. I spoke with Brent personally on the phone and set up an appointment for my son. Brent was also EXTREMELY knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. He explained the different types of bikes that might benefit my son. (This all took place during the COVID situation. They had a plan for social distancing, and their shop was taking every precaution possible for safety of themselves and their customers). I tried my son on 2 different bikes and then decided on a recumbent style, as Brent suggested that would grow with him into adulthood. From that point on, Brent did all the paperwork on the back and with my social worker and was able to get the bike approved through state funding. The process was much quicker and easier than I expected. When we came back to pick up the bike, he got my son on it, made some adjustments, and we left. We will never go to another bike store besides either of these Emery’s locations again!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND EMERY’S!!!!!!

Like the rest of the world looking for something fun to do during this crazy time, we were lucky to find a bike at Emery's in Milwaukee. They had the great foresight to predict a high level of demand and had ordered lots of bikes before the pandemic hit hard. I called from Chicago and asked about the bike. The guy, Chris, was amazing. He answered all my questions and they had my bike ready for the next day they were open. Although Wisconsin is not as strict as Illinois right now on masks, etc., this store was. They practiced social distancing and masks wearing, making us feel very safe and comfortable to be there. They set up my bike for my height and comfort. What was even better is Wisconsin has a 5% tax, in comparison to 10% in Illinois. An added bonus (which paid for the gas), in addition to an enjoyable, exciting ride to pick up my bike. I wish Emery's was located in Illinois. Thank you for a great experience.
