So I was in the market for a hockey stick, and chose to look around this place one night. They had both composite and wooden sticks, at varying prices. I ended up choosing a wooden $25 stick. There was one early-20s guy working the front counter, who was friendly enough. At checkout, as it was the only thing I was getting, I double-checked that I could return it if it broke. He said no, but I could get an exchange within 30 days. So I bought it. Well, around 20 days pass, and I love it. And then the heel breaks. I didn't think it was a big deal, and I went to return it. I was told that they did not do exchanges on wooden sticks, that only composite were exchangeable. The guy that I bought the stick from was not working, so I didn't get to talk to him, but asked to talk to a manager, and got the owner. He told me that it was his son who sold me the stick, and had been working there since he was a teenager, so he would never make that mistake. In doing so, he basically called me a liar. I asked him to make it right, and just exchange it, as his employee (and son) had said, but he would not. He said they couldn't possibly exchange a wooden stick, it didn't work that way. (I did have the receipt, if anyone is wondering.) I eventually left and ended up repairing it myself. At the end of the day, it's $25, but I did not appreciate the way the owner spoke to me, and I will do my very best to not buy from here again.

I suited my son for hockey, head to toe, for around $200. That's a pretty good deal, IMO. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
