I've been staying here for several years because of the price, room size, and convenient location. But this will likely be the last time. It gets seedier each time I return. Now we're at the point where lights are burnt out, irons are missing and unrelated, and TVs are failing. Sometimes you get lucky and things are ok. Sometimes not.
The rooms are clean but the hallways smell like a mixture of skunk and a dog kennel/boarding. This may be due to the fact that dogs are allowed (btw, I love dogs). The breakfast offerings are minimal (oatmeal packs, granola bars, plastic wrapped muffins). This is probably because it has a full kitchen in the room. In other words, if you want a hot breakfast make it yourself.
Kind and friendly front desk staff at check in set the tone for a great nights rest.
Fine if you need to stay here while on business for a night or two. Breakfast is fairly poor and not very nutritious. Staff are friendly and helpful even after I arrived a day late. My booking was cancelled even after I called the hotel to inform then I was going to be a day late due to my flight being delayed due to the weather.
Pretty rundown, but inexpensive and a great location!
