Just got kicked out of the pool. Covid! Unbelievable. A dozen guests in the hotel, no one in the pool, chlorine content in the hot tub so high your eyes tear for 3 hours after and they kicked me out.nThe breakfast has been limited to cereal and no milk, a couple stale bagels and a few english muffins but no toaster.nWas here a few weeks ago and at least they had bananas and hard boiled eggs. No mas.
Bad area. Next to Ferris Center, which houses dane county sheriff inmates on work release. Parking lot and front entrance dotted with transients
This hotel is clean and comfortable. We had a suite with a kitchenette that worked out very well for us. All the staff was friendly and the hot breakfast is good.
Modern style that is refreshing and not sterile feeling. No carpet! Beautiful floors. Will go back.
It's a pretty nice hotel, conveniently close to Olin Park where I was attending the Great Taste of the Midwest beer festival. So comfortable was this room that even after a whole day spent drinking beer, I awoke the next morning with no sign of a hangover. Does the Clarion deserve the credit for this miracle? Maybe not, but I'll likely stay there again... just in case!
