We loved this hotel. We were in town from southern Indiana visiting our daughter and chose this for the proximity to her. This part of town has great shops and places to eat (don't miss Batch Bakehouse!) and beautiful homes to walk by on your short walk to the lake. The room was very clean and comfortable, the price was good, the bikes were a nice bonus. Owner was kind and responsive. Don't hesitate to stay here!
Stunning stained glass windows and vaulted ceiling’s. Comfy beds and a hammock to chill on right inside. Courteous and helpful owner. Parking was a bit tricky. Plan a night at the bar that is a house around the corner.
The hotel was great! Easy check in/out, very clean and friendly staff. The neighborhood is great, it’s close to downtown but not right there was it’s loud. The bike rental was also a fun opportunity, my husband struggled a bit with the bike because he is very tall. But besides the we LOVED using the bikes! I highly recommend staying here!
Really excellent experience at this hotel! Easy self check-in, no keys to lose (the doors have a keypad code instead), and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and they had several streaming services available for entertainment. It is also pet friendly, which was invaluable for us. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone I know if they are looking for a place to stay on the beautiful near East side of Madison!
The Marquette Hotel was better than we anticipated! First, the location could not have been better! We were close enough to walk to the Lake Monona and we did so daily! We were also close to some really great restaurants and cute shops. Second, they gave us complimentary bikes to enjoy the city which was amazing - such a biking city. Third, they were so responsive to any questions or inquiries. Finally, we felt safe and that everything was clean and sanitized during Covid times. Cannot wait to come back to The Marquette Hotel once this pandemic is over! Thank you for the PERFECT long weekend!
