Great place! The rooms are fantastic, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff is not that kind but efficient. There are many options for delicious coffee and meals though a bit expensive. Loved the place.
Perfectly fine. Not fancy, of course. In mid-summer it was nice and quiet. (I wouldn't stay here in football season!)
Union South is a perfect blend of upscale hotel and college union. There's a bowling alley, a few different restaurant and coffee options and endless numbers of kids studying - for atmosphere and a quiet hotel well located on the University of Wisconsin campus. The service of the many students working at the hotel was over the top great. We requested a roll away bed and they brought it quickly and refused our gratuity - all with a smile. I will stay here again
From Ohio and had a great stay here. Loved the location near Camp Randell. Great on site bar.
We recently had our wedding at the Union in Varsity Hall. It was a great venue with a great perk of the Union Hotel right there. Staff was very nice and got whatever we needed. Rooms we clean and luxurious. I really liked the shower in the room.
