The Livingston in is charming. The whole experience is cozy and welcoming. Peggy does an excellent job engaging her guests and taking care of their needs. She thinks of every detail, including putting salted chocolate out for returning guests at night. She even got up early to make us breakfast sandwiches for the road on the day we checked out early. 5 Stars!
This was a wonderful place of healing and comfort. Tammy and Tara are both very kind and loving hostess'. I would definitely come back if i ever find myself out this way again. Many blessings over this inn.
We are shocked by this beautiful house and a very friendly owner!!! She prepared delicious breakfast for us free of charge. We were offered red wine, nuts, chocolates in the evening - all for free. The house inside and outside is amazing, comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished! It is located in the center of the city near the shore of the Lake. We were very sorry that we needed to leave. The owner was so rude and disrespectful to me. I don’t understand all of the good reviews. The whole place smells like a retirement home. The plumbing is really bad so don’t flush too often. The beds were lumpy and itchy. I wish I would’ve gotten a refund when I left but the owner wouldn’t give me my money back. She’s a scammer. Stay away!!!!!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Livingston Inn! Peggy was a wonderful and generous host, and made sure our stay was delightful. Our room (The Willow Room) was comfortable and quiet, and the bathroom was updated with an awesome shower. The backyard garden was so beautiful & quaint, and the lake access was just the icing on the cake. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and Peggy left out sweets and drinks for us in addition. There's a very cute neighborhood with a tea & coffee shop, a great bar, pizza, & cute shops just a block away. We hope to return again!
