Great hotel for a weekend stay! It was extremely clean and quiet! Usually, you can hear people in other hotel rooms next door or above you but we barely heard anything during our entire stay. The staff were all super friendly and went above and beyond to help us out! The room was smaller than your standard hotel room but it still had everything you could possibly need! Added bonus -- they are pet friendly!

The hotel was nice and cozy. The location is great but lack amenities makes it 4 stars.

39 degrees outside. The Graduate Hotel in Madison Wisconsin made a management decision not to turn on the heat. Front desk workers did not blame a broken furnace. They said management decision and it sounds like it has been going on for the last week. This is Wisconsin. The high yesterday was 54 degrees. The front desk workers felt helpless. No extra blankets in the room. The front desk worker said the extra space heaters were already given out. She said she brings her space heater from home. We have daughters in Minneapolis and here in Madison. This is our first time at the Graduate in Madison, but have stayed in Minneapolis more times than I remember. They need to make this decision right with a free night's hotel stay. || Response to post. I will say, Tyler the manager did a great job with service recovery. I get old buildings. They needed to tell us in advance of our potential issues.

The room was fine, good design and comfy bed, and The Graduate is in nice location in Madison - but I don't recommend this hotel during the pandemic. Several patrons were in the lobby not wearing masks. When I asked the front desk clerk if he was going to say anything, he said he would and then ignored me. One would think that during a time of rampant spread of COVID-19 throughout college campuses in America, that a hotel would pride itself on safety, if only for its reputation. I did not appreciate the rube-like atmosphere of this hotel.

An incredibly friendly staff, and they have clear restrictions and guidelines in place for COVID. It’s a nerve-wrecking time to stay at a hotel, but we felt healthy and safe here. The Graduate hotels are always so cool and fun. Very clean, fun and unique decor, and spacious rooms! Unfortunately their rooftop was closed while we were there, but wasn’t a huge deal since we were just staying one night.
