Extremely professional high end knowledge with bike fitting that can not be matched. High quality products not found in the average bike store. Best bike store in Wisconsin hands down, and probably one of the best in the country. Colin is second to no one with his knowledge. Cronometro makes biking something to look forward to and is motivating.

How this place has anything more than one star is beyond me. Just purchased a road bike that doesn’t fit exactly right. Called and asked about a courtesy fitting, this is my local bike shop, new to the area, but have used for replacing tires before...dude has the gall to tell me their fittings start at $300, lol. For what, exactly, seeing me peddle for a few seconds (but saying stay on for an hour) and adjusting my bike. In San Francisco, where you’d think they gouge you, they do it for free. Won’t ever give this place any business again, terrible business practices. Go elsewhere, these guys just want to over-charge you if you don’t know any better...

Awesome service for all levels of cyclists! Both my wife and I have had fits done by Colin and they have alleviated serious issues for both us. Colin's fits are generous in their breadth (you go through everything) and Colin's wealth of experience and knowledge of biomechanics and cycling, generally. The fit process is customized to your history and goals which was very important in my case. His pretty impressive experience and history in the cycling industry allows him to have a ton of solutions at his fingertips in terms of products and techniques. Maybe most importantly, there are no gimmicks and no branded fit product agenda. You will not be sold something that they don't believe in and/or have personal experience using (and they have pretty high standards). Worth every penny.nnWhile I tend to like to do things myself it is really nice to have a place that you can trust to get it right every time and that stands by their work.

The most important reason why I am a 30 year customer of Crono is simply that the owner has been the same.Its not just that he gives you great advice about buying a bike there is continuity about the maintenance of your bike.Most Crono customers have high end bikes so its important to have high end maintenance.Over the years I needed some emergency repairs done the same day-as a Crono regular I was never disappointed.They always got me back on the road in time.I would never buy a bike at any other place in Madison.
