This is a fine family owned hotel. Those who travel often know that budget hotels are a hit or miss proposition. Not this one. It is well worth the money. A person can go down the road and pay twice or thrice and get a bit more polish but will not leave any more satisfied. I have across country put up with many irritations in budget choices but will not complain about the Mayflower. You can tell its family owned as they value keeping your business. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Me and my friends felt very unsafe the entirety of our stay here. Another room with two men and a woman harassed us at 6:00 am, begging us to open our door and step out to speak to them. It was clear they had a hidden motive, no matter what it may be, but they seemed desperate to know how old we were, if we were alone, and if we could come out and put our face to our door. While this woman banged on the windows, not a single other person came to our defense and we had to sit there locked in our rooms petrified. I would not recommend staying here if you are young and especially if you are a young woman. Not safe at all.

Me and my Mom stayed there for two nights I payed online which was 137$ I get there they are talking about I have to put a deposit down which was not said to begin with I had no money after giving that up then later on the first night I go to the front desk to ask for more towels the lady would not give me ANY because she said there’s only 2 people in the room and we put 2 towels. Now I guess you can forget how some people take multiple showers a day and also things get spilt so I left the office with out no extra towels I say bad customer service and if I see that lady still working there or working there the next time I decide to go to that hotel again they will have lost multiple customers.

I stayed here in August and was pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was considering the affordable price point. We enjoyed the breakfast and the proximity to downtown. We slept well and had no complaints. We'll definitely stay here next time we're in town.

As the name suggests it's an economy option, but there are small things that they can fix to make it a better experience.nNegatives:n1) The key to outside door wasn't working properly and the door to the corridor (path to the inside door) is locked and no key is provided for that one, so we had to keep all valuables in the car when leaving the place.n2) There is no temperature control or a way to close AC.n3) Hair drier was not working and they do not provide a replacement.n4) It does not look like that safe.nnPositives:n1) Price is on the lower end.n2) Breakfast is acceptable, but you need to be early or it will run out soon.
