The house was absolutely perfect for our group of six. We rented both the downstairs and upstairs and had plenty of space to relax. Our group was in town for a Wisconsin football game and the Victorian was a short 25 minute drive to Madison. The house sits right in the middle of downtown Cambridge making for an easy walk to the local restaurants and stores. Carol was a delight to work with and provided lots of great recommendations for our visit. The house had everything we needed -comfortable beds, cozy furniture, plenty of towels, and beautifully remodeled kitchens and bathrooms.

It was wonderful, would highly recommend it. The house had all the amenities you could need, the main bed was so very comfortable and the pillows were so soft. The bathroom was very clean as was the whole house, she was very easy to talk to if you had a problem. The cute little alcove had additional room for at least 3 or 4 more people/kids. The living room was quite big and had a very comfortable couch. I would stay here again. I loved it. The rug in the living room was the absolute most softest rug!!.

This place was perfect! Gorgeous yard, lots of beds and a stunning kitchen with brand new appliances. Plus a super nice owner. I highly recommend it and would love to stay there again someday.

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas week at the Victorian - a hidden gem in Cambridge! Everyone was very comfortable and took full advantage of the well-equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, and videos for the kids. The in-town location was perfect for our needs - highly recommended!

While relocating to the area, I've stayed in both the Upper and the Lower and have enjoyed every minute at The Victorian! Carol and Joe are kind and accommodating hosts!nThe upper is charming and felt just like home with absolutely beautiful touches and has everything you could need (pots/pans/utensils/dishes/soaps/cleaners/coffee/snacks/foil/plastic wrap/garbage bags/scissors etc).nThe lower feels beyond luxurious (it is absolutely the most gorgeous apt I've ever seen) and again having every possible thing you could want or need (even band-aids)! The fireplaces and couches in both apartments are cozy and warm (plus they provide extra blankets if you want to curl up). The garden is charming and if you stay in the lower it is a quick step out from the kitchen to dine in the beautiful garden!nThe Victorian is centrally located so you can easily wander to restaurants/shopping/trails.nVery grateful for being able to stay in such a lovely home, thank you Carol and Joe for everything!
