Our stay here was outstanding. The staff were always friendly, happy to give me a mask after I left mine in my room when I popped down to the lobby to grab breakfast and would answer questions I had. I needed to stay another night, and booked it online instead of extending my stay. I told them that at the front desk, and she made sure I could stay in the same room. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean. The breakfast bags available each morning included bottled water, and a nice variety of foods. Our son just moved to Madison to attend UWM, so we'll be back and will stay here again.
One of the best hotels we ever stayed in on our 3 week long Michigan vacation. Sparkling clean. brand new, great staff! Great ice machine.
5 stars are saved for the outstanding. There is no huge wow factor here. But the manger check me in, told me about the pool being closed before I paid.told me about the breakfast, all of the things that were around. Room was cleaned. bed a little firm for my liking but it did the job. Would stay here again.

Hotel is nice BUT:n1. Breakfast is not included. The receptionist told us there will a breakfast bag in the lobby with some kind of breakfast. It was a bottle of water and some kind of candy. Maybe it is breakfast for some people, not for me!n2. The pool is closed due to covid. The receptionist mentioned that AFTER we already paid! The website doesn't mention the pool is closed anywhere and she is obligated to tell us that before we pay. If we knew we would never take this place when there are many places with open pools or at least cheaper price if they do not have a pool. But no. She waited till we pay and then she informed us that we can't use the pool...nnVery disappointed.
