Fairways like concrete
Used a Groupon and paid 10 more to play the whole course, for 30 it was a nice deal.nnWe went during the beginning of a dry spell so some bits of the fairway were dry. The rough is quite light so you can easily stay on track.nnThe carts were good with storage so it's easy to grab your items.nnThe driving range is really just a field with a post at 150. When I got there around noon they didn't have any balls so they had to rake some in, took about 10 minutes. It was 7 for a bucket of 50 or so.nnThe shop and building are dated but ok like a dive bar of sorts.
Didn't stay in the resort as me and my family are just passing through on a road trip and were just coming here to get a bite to eat. Our waitress was very friendly. The greeter was very friendly. They have the dining room set to maintain social distancing very well.nnI hope to come back here someday as the food here is amazing! I had the salmon with a double dose of mashed potatoes and vegetables.nnAnd now I'm waiting for the second course. A chocolate cake. As I am a chocoholic.
I would have given it 5 stars but they don't have escargot any more. Course is in very good shape. Nice rooms (nothing fancy). Always enjoy the stay and play. Loved the Walleye and the Wisconsin burger. Great staff, friendly and accommodating.
An absolute gorgeous course with little to no road noise. Tee boxes and fairways are well taken care of, and the greens are absolutely perfect. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful as well. Will definitely be back again!
