This little gem is right on the Mississippi! It is probably the cleanest motel ever. Perfect place to relax after a day hiking Effigy Mounds National Monument and Pike Peaks State Park or boating on the river. It is a little dated in decor but very comfortable. Coffee maker, nice sized refrigerator and microwave in the rooms make it easy to avoid crowds with COVID.

My parents frequent this motel and recommended my family of four to stay for a quick get away. The rooms are very clean. Spotless clean! The beds are so comfortable and I love that there is plenty of lighting in the room. The owner is kind and takes pride in the motel. I met a woman in housekeeping and she was a genuine woman with recommendations for local eateries and Pikes Peak. She asked if there was anything she could do to make our stay better. (Our stay was wonderful) We have two daughters, (11 & 12) they loved the pool. The pool was remarkably clean and kept up very well. The patio furniture was in great condition and there are even pool toys and floats provided. When my husband asked for a couple extra coffee packets, we were given several. The beautiful flowers and plants are very welcoming and absolutely gorgeous. Everything about this quaint motel was perfect and we would recommend it to all visiting the Mississippi River or the McGregor / Marquette area. Thank you to the owners for exceeding expectations and making our mini vacation memorable!

Stayed one night during our vacation. Mom and pop style motel. Looks a bit dated but our room was extremely clean. WiFi Signal was excellent. Gentleman at front desk was nice and helpful but, in these COVID times, I would have appreciated it if he was wearing a mask. Be aware that train tracks run directly behind the motel and trains do run through there during the night. Comfortable stay nonetheless.
