This is our second stay this summer at Colonial and we fell in love with it! (Two adults, two kids). The best part is location and heated water in the pool! Rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a nice Bowman park half block away with playground and basketball courts and, of course, downtown Dells with shops, restaurants, entertainment and River Walk. Definitely coming back to this place again! Thank you!

It's a small little motel, but was really worth the price. Very clean & the people that were running it we're very very friendly and accommodating.nRoom is small but we didn't care we didn't spend much time in it anyway. no refrigerator only a microwave and not a lot of places to plug things in so make sure you bring an extension cord or a plug-in strip.nI would recommend!

Mila the owner is as sweet as they come, we arrived late and she was prompt helping us move into our rooms nonetheless. The room was clean, had cute decor, a fridge and a microwave, a well working tv, a nice outdoor chair, the water in the shower was hot the whole time and had great water pressure. I cannot recommend this motel enough. I wish I could ever picture myself returning to Wisconsin Dells just so I could stay at the colonial motel again. There are a ton of identical motels in this area and it might be hard to make the choice, but if you’re thinking about staying at the Colonial Motel here is your sign that this is the right place to pick. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Perfect for your needs. No frills and thrills but is perfect stay close to the strip and helpful staff. Great location?!!

Colonial is a little old fashioned with metal key entry and 80's feel to the rooms but there were clean and comfortable though the bed mattress was a little dated. It has a really nice pool for swimming that includes a slide.
