This historic house was so comfortable, cozy, quiet, and just a refreshing stay versus a busy hotel. The hotel amenities were accommodating, it was very clean and well kept, and we loved the historical feel. It was like sleeping at Grandma's house as a kid. We were greeted by very kind staff who made us feel right at home. We stayed in room 11, with a beautiful claw foot tub, pink wallpaper, and antique decor. The House is conveniently located close to the downtown area, the waterfront, and local establishments. We walked down to Slippery's Bar & Grill (Grumpy Old Men theme) and ate our dinner on their deck, enjoyed live music just across the road, and we sat down by the water on the benches in a park setting to watch the boats. In the morning, we enjoyed a beautiful and bountiful breakfast as well, included in our room price. We would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful host and amazing view, perfect spot downtown. The host gave us a handmade map of the area for things we can visit and enjoy next time we're down and we did go to one of the parks they recommended and it was absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast was amazing as well, I loved the monkey bread (my favorite, not too sweet). The only thing I didn't like was the quality of the bed, super rough sleep after hiking 5 different State parks, I should have been out cold!

The dining hall was most charming and the buffet was so delicious.nI would recommend to the owners to update all blinds as some were broken, and power wash all windows to make the room more inviting.nOverall fun to be in the oldest hotel. Loved the antiques.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful historic house. The owner is an amazing host who you can tell puts her heart into making it a perfect night stay - from her hospitality to her homemade breakfast. Highly recommend.
