The driveway up was a bit intimidating. We stayed all the way up at Coopers cottage so the 120 or so stairs were a challenge, but I have a bum knee and I made it. The toilet made a couple of noises at night and the firebox made a little noise once in a while and the train was a bit loud in the morning. None of that stuff bothered me or my wife, but I'll put it out there for some people.nThe gentleman that greeted us at the winery was very nice. The gal that was cleaning the cottages was also very kind and it appeared that she did her job well. The cottage was amazing. I have been working in various trades throughout my life, and if I were to empathize with the folks that built these places... what a bunch of badasses. The view was amazing. Especially at sunset. A couple of eagles flew right past our bedroom windows and there was a large buck on the bluff right behind our cottage. My wife and I try to get out on various date night adventures throughout the year. This may have been the best one yet. We will definitely return to check out their other cottages.
This place is amazing. So serene.
Clean suite, relaxing atmosphere. Close proximity to several good places to eat.
Beautiful set up, but you'd best be able to handle a few stairs. That aside, it's gorgeous for the price point and local amenities (there's some solid locales in the area).
