My friend and I were on a motorcycle trip around the Northwest parts of Wisconsin. Our first night was spent in Fountain City and I chose The Fountain Motel as the place to stay. My friend had no idea I picked a themed motel! The motel is located along the Mississippi River and the view was very nice.nnArriving at check-in, everything was ready for us. All payments and such are done in advance so check-in was a breeze. We went to the room and my friend just about died laughing at The Jungle Room! (I would have picked the Harley-Davidson room but it only had a King Size Bed) The 2 Queen size beds were super comfortable, the room clean and big, the bathroom was separate from the vanity which made it even easier for 2 people to get ready in the morning. The motel has no ice maker but the owner was great about giving us a small pail of ice for our use, which was the perfect size. The room does have a fridge and microwave along with HDTV.nnThe next morning we were surprised with a towel on each of our bikes to dry them off. We have never received that kind of service anywhere we have traveled.nnI highly recommend The Fountain Motel for that special getaway. I know we'll be back!

I stay at motels and hotels often and this motel is by far the best i have ever stayed in. Clean clean clean. And Chris does a great job with it all.

I've stayed here twice. The rooms are very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Chris is so accommodating and helpful, I couldn't have been more pleased.

Fabulous location! Fisherman's bliss across from public boat launch! Rooms spotless! Read each room is themed we had the Harley room! Massive motel room! Massive bathroom! Wonderfully appointed bath soaps, and mini fridge and coffee cups! Quiet AC and plentiful parking for boats! Great owner and great town friendly locals plenty of dining options close by! Will return!
