Holiday Inn Express & Suites Farmington (Bloomfield)

We are disable and our key would not work on the outside door by our room, so we had to walk all the way to the front. Our TV would not change channels or volume. The lady at the desk apologized and started there are no maintenance workers on the weekend or at night. We were only there for one night Saturday August 1st and rented elsewhere for Sunday August 2nd. We have never had this trouble before and enjoyed renting at the Holiday Express Inn. It is with great regret that in the future we will not be staying here during our next visit to Farmington New Mexico.

When I travel, I really like consistency. This holiday inn was VERY clean, and everything in the room worked; heater, air conditioning,TV, Keurig (woulda been nice to bring a couple pods, I gotta start remembering to do that). It may be a bit pricey for the area, my total after tax was $113 for a Wednesday night. BUT when you consider the surrounding options (and that's a pretty consistent rate throughout holiday inns in areas like this, I'm not a discount asker though), I really don't mind the price. On the cheaper end, there is a motel 6 about 1/2 mile away that is literally one of the top 5 most dangerous and shady motels I have ever been to. My personal safety and piece of mind in regards to my property are definitely worth $60. As far as food goes, There is a Blake's lottaburger and Subway basically in the parking lot, so you don't have to cross any roads to get a bite to eat. FYI, if you are going to Navajo lake or the San juan, from the hotel it's basically a straight shot, if I remember correctly it's just one left on the main highway. Staff was nice, but I didn't need anything nor had any problems so check in was the only contact I had with them.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Great breakfast to go. We recommend staying here.

Clean but outdated.

Ken was delightful and fully took care of anything I needed. I highly recommend this place.
