I see Mictotel is under new management and I must say, unprofessional. The two men I dealt with, one was a manager, were very rude and unaccommodating. They were watching our every move and wouldn’t let people call up to my room. The manager hung the phone up on me. They didn’t want to turn the lights on in the pool after the seen my kids swimming in there. They charged us twice and said the other charge was for a deposit even thought we paid with a card. The energy and vibe is not the same from some years ago. They wouldn’t allow us guests. Very uncomfortable feeling I DO NOT RECOMMEND MICROTEL ANY LONGER.
Easy to book, very friendly and helpful staff. The pool was great for the kids, didnt expect all the extras and it was open later than most! We chose because it was pet friendly and cheap. Definitely would come back!
If your getting a room here because it has cheaper rates and seems nicer than a motel 6, let me save you some time, its not. The room was dirty. Things left from other guests under the bed, dirty window that hadn't been wiped clean. Ice machine was broken on the first floor so I had to use the one on the second floor. When I got there, it was obvious the machine hadn't been cleaned in years. Mold and all kinds of other residue right underneath the dispenser. I bought my ice at kwik trip right down the street. Also the manager was extremely rude to me and made everyone in my family of four feel uncomfortable as if he watching our every move around the place. I dont, and will never, recommend this place to anyone.
This place was of the shitznezz first when you walk in it's like a normal hotel. The environment is nice and space.
My dad came to stay from out of state and they wouldn't let his grandkids (my children) swim cuz they weren't paying customers with their own room. They also said none of the family could stay past 9pm. My dad got his room only a hour beforehand and we weren't loud.
