We had a wonderful stay at Washburn Inn in October and enjoyed their proximity to the lake. Hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely come back and stay with them next time!
Fine hotel. Nice for the price. Right on the water. It’s not a super nice hotel, but it’s mostly fine. We just slept there basically. The woman working the front desk did not have a mask on.
What a gem! Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable, and affordable. Everyone, is super friendly and accommodating. This will be my place to stay whenever I'm in the area. This sunrise picture was taken from the marina two blocks away. The Adirondack chairs are a nice place to look out at the water after a day of exploring the peninsula.
The staff was friendly, the view (Lake Superior and Marina) and location (a quick walk to food and grocery) were great, and the rooms were very clean. You could tell there was a lot of pride in the place and they made you feel at home. Fresh coffee every morning in the lobby was also a huge bonus! Highly recommend this to those wanting to enjoy the great north and Lake Superior!
Place has fresh carpet and paint. Waterfront to sit back and relax. Thin walls and matresses could be updated or a topper put on, sheets barely covered the matress.fir the price I would stay there again
