We ate two suppers in the bar and one breakfast in the dinning room. Servers were very friendly and helpful. All of the food was great! We will definitely be going back. The hotel rooms were fine. The pool and hot tub looked inviting, but we ran out of time...
My Fiance and I did a little venue shopping at Lakewoods. The staff was excellent to us, along with the owner. They made viewing the venue a breeze. Very open to helping us, and making our special day within budget. There was a lot to offer with the packages and rooms they have available for the wedding party and guests.nnWe had dinner in the bar that night, excellent steak! The resort itself offers great amenities, like an indoor pool and hot tub. Our room was very clean & sanitized, even the toilet had a little sticker. The 6am view of the lake and the sun rise was honestly worth the whole trip itself. Definitely will be staying here again and I recommend staying here for a nice get away!
This is a great resort. It offers lots of amenities from an indoor and outdoor pool, to a golf course and marina. It boasts beautiful views of Lake Namakagon and has lots of opportunities to fish and hike. There is also a nice restaurant on site with a bar as well.
Food was great. Bartender was super nice. Played the slots there. Lady at front desk really had a attitude about having to pay us what we won. Actually huffed and puffed about it saying they are going to run out of money. I mean if you don't have the money to pay people turn the machines off. As a business owner myself acting that way in front of the customer is very unprofessional.
Nice Location, terrible service.nn*We were told to put our linens in a garbage bag when we left but none were provided. No problem, we head up to the main office and it was like pulling teeth for them to give us a couple garbage bags. We asked for 6, and the scoffed at us and gave us 3.nn*one of the toilets was broken and didn't fill with water.nn*We rented a boat for the day, the boat was in terrible condition. When we got out on the water the engine died immediately. Turns out the gas line was broken. Then when we asked for a refund they had to call 3 separate people to verify that they could give us a refund after renting us a broken boat.nn*There was one tiny soap and one tiny shampoo for the entire bathroom. Lasted one shower and then we were out.
