Our family comes here every year and we absolutely love it. Cute and clean cabins, beautiful lake, nice beach. You can fish right off the dock or use the fishing boat that comes with the cabin. Lots of bluegills and crappie for the kids to catch, northern and bass in there too. There’s a paddle boat, a couple kayaks, and a couple canoes to use, as well as tons of beach toys. Great location for day trips up to the North Shore, Hayward, Madeline Island etc. Close by is the Delta Diner, which is always delicious, and a little ice cream shack. We always look forward to coming up to Deer Trail Lodge!
Wife's family has been comming up here for over 20 years. It's my one weekly vacation a year and worth every bit of it. Many memories created for my kids every year. Great fishing, boating, and fun.
We stayed at unit 3. It was clean and nice and warm. The beds were new and were very comfortable! The shower was amazing tons of pressure!
Nice cozy cabin, everything was there that you needed. More info could have been given about working the TV, you supposedly had all these channel available to you, but I couldn't get it to work, maybe someone more computer savvy might have better luck with it.
Beautiful site, the cabin was a great size for three of us. Definitely must go down the street to the delta diner for breakfast/lunch! It's definitely out of the way, but quiet, nice forest, and a great lake to canoe/kayak/fish on.
