Cute and cozy with Netflix, microwave and mini fridge but Uncomfortable beds, no coffee, really bad tasting tea, and cheap windows that seemed like they were gonna break when you opened them.

Nice place but the shampoo was empty and the walls were so thin you would hear your neighbors turning in their bed.

Hotel was fine, 4 stars. I'd like to use this spot to review the island, however. The island I would give 1.5 stars. We had a great hike along the beach, was fantastic. We got into town about 530 to look for food and EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED. There was nowhere in town to get a hot meal. We stopped at Tom's burned down cafe and the rude lady inside told us she was closed and to try the pub down the street. We thought it was just around the corner. Instead we had to walk about 5 blocks. When we reached the pub it said it go around the back to the ordering window, but that was also closed. We walked all the way back. We checked the grocery store but by this time it had also closed (closed at 6). Basically, almost all of the restaurants were shut down on the island, and all of them were shut down after 530. We couldnt even get groceries. Even the bar was shut down so we couldnt get a drink. We stopped to talk to a local, who said he could get us drinks but no food. The longer we talked to him the creepier he seemed, so we noped out of that situation. Almost everyone on the island seemed like a creepy yokel. We felt stranded. I'm sure a lot of this is due to covid, but it was absurd to not be able to access any food or supplies. Thankfully we had some leftovers and snacks that we had brought with us or we would have gone to bed hungry.

I would never ever go here again. It's like a shoebox and over priced as well. Nats infested our sink.

Room was okay. Very rustic look/feel- and I’m not talking Joanna Gaines farmhouse rustic.nnVery basic- which we didn’t intend to stay in the room a bunch. The WiFi and smart TV was nice.nnTub/shower was old with peeling paint, and shower head was to my neck (I’m 5’7”).nnThey offer pastries in the morning, which was okay the first morning (over cooked scones), but the second morning- it was a single mini funnel cake thing. While good, enough for my husband and I to even consider being a tad full.nnThe do keep a kettle and French press in the room for a little caffeine. And it was nice to have a parking spot on the island.nnWe also had no interaction with any hosts the time we were there. They gave us a code to get in via email before arrival- which was nice to not have to carry around a key.nnOverall, the $150 a night I paid wasn’t quite worth it.
