We came up to Bayfield Wisconsin to visit the ice caves. We called the Tree Top House on our drive and the owner, Sandy, answered. We joked around a bit and laughed that she is not typically open in the winter on weekdays, but she said she would gladly accommadate us. The house is a beautiful 1890s house just a walkable 4 blocks from downtown. Sandy recommended some great places to eat dinner, things to do, and some history about the area which is always interesting. There are three rooms, we had one with a private bathroom and shower. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the environment was very homey and comforting. Sandy should open a restaurant because she is a very good breakfast cook, and delivered our delicious meal at the time we suggested. I would reccomend Sandy and her welcoming home to any visitors.
