I had just spent four days camping along the Namekagon and sleeping on the ground. I'm not as young as I used to be and given the choice of camping one more night or finding a a hotel... I went with the hotel option. We drove down from Trego looking for a place to stay. I pulled into Microtel and walked into the lobby to see if they had any rooms.nnSo picture this... A big burly man with a bushy beard that hasn't seen a shower in four days and smells of river and campfire comes in trailing sand... The poor front desk clerk would have been well in her right to refuse service or at least make a face. No, she was very polite, looked up availability and assured me they had a room for a price I was willing to pay. I needed a room to sleep 3 adults, she had a room with two queen size beds. The beds were comfortable. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, two TVs, and plenty of towels/washcloths.nnIt comes with a breakfast, but it's was just donuts and cereal, so we ended up going elsewhere for something a little more substantial.nnIs it a big fancy hotel? No. Is it a good place to rest your head that's clean, and comfortable? Yes.

For the price I paid this was a total steal. The room was a little too small for my taste, the TV is smaller than my computer monitor, but otherwise for the one night I needed, it was very clean and super convenient.
