The Escape was amazing! Located only minutes from down town Chetek but far enough away to enjoy some seclusion making the Escape the perfect place to do just that, Escape. The house has tons of amenities including internet, full working bath and change room. We really enjoyed having our own private dock for both water craft and fishing. The location is absolutely beautiful and there is nothing better than sitting on the back deck in the evenings. We really couldn't find anything to complain about, and were constantly surprised by all the little things that were provided for us! Would recommend this place to anyone who asked anytime!
Stayed a couple nights for the holidays. The quiet serenity of the lake made for a very relaxing getaway. The owner was very gracious and accomodating. We are definately planning for a return trip sometime in the near future.
There's nothing that beats sitting out on the deck as the sun is rising with a cup of coffee and listening to the woodpeckers and finches chatter. Was a bit early yet for any fish to bite, but I bet when the season is right you can catch them right off of the dock.nnThe house itself is cozy. The kitchen is equipped for about anything you could want to cook. The greatest part is the outside ambiance. I've never been to a more relaxing place.
Mommy and Daddy never fight when were here.
