Very nice rooms. Obviously well cared for as everything was clean and in working order. Great place to stay at a reasonable price. We had a very pleasant stay.
Nice views of Lake Superior. Makes you feel like you can actually swim in it all year round ud83dude02 The warm hot tub with the great view.
Coming into this Hotel, your greeted by a front desk totally enclosed with plastic wrap and can barely understand the Hotel staff! No Breakfast served, have to get it yourself, and get a tiny piece of paper in closed in your room key envelope, saying No Housekeeping until 3rd day!!!! Really!!!! Ran out of toilet paper, had to buy my own!!!!! We only stayed 2 days, so naturally no clean towels!!! The room it’s self was very dirty, pictures looked to have something splattered on them, the bathrooms had stick gunk on floor, bed seemed not made well, as if they just pulled covers up after last quest. I paid almost $200 a night for a parking lot view,( they weren’t even full)! Back door was left opened all the time with tape on the locks ,so as not to fully lock! Unreal, so dissatisfied!!! Will be advising everyone and anyone Not to stay here!!!
I don’t there much to say about this place I just noticed few things based on which I’m rating it average. One of the tubing that I noticed was, when we got here there were less than 20 cars parked in parking lot. So I requested them to give us lake facing room. The lady said there were no rooms available. Well, I can’t say for sure but it’s hard to believe that. Also, the lady at reception was missing from reception area most of the time. We had to call out loud to get someone’s attention.
We like this hotel right on the water at Lake Superior. It has great views of the lake. We did hope to get some linen service and replacement cups and coffee while we were gone, but because of COVID I guess they didn't come in. Make sure to ask at the desk for what you need.
