Nice hotel just up from Lake Superior shoreline. We stayed here a night on our way to Madeline Island. We just explored Ashland a little bit and needed a place to stay overnight. Right next to a great eatery (Deep Water Grille) so an easy walk to grab some food and a local beer from Doane or South Shore Brewery. We had the weekend rate and it was about $165. Rooms were clean and the place seemed newer. Unfortunately we didn't grab breakfast on the way out because we wanted to stop at Ashland Baking Company instead, but the spread looked good.
Real happy with my three days at cobblestone. Rooms were clean and modern. Parking good. Right next door is a micro Brew pub with three restaurant. Many things within walking distance. Grocery store, across the street. Easy to find and right on the main route. Close to attractions, like apostle island s.
I travel for a living and this is easily my favorite hotel in 4 states! The staff is wonderful and the rooms are impeccable! I appreciate being able to bring my pet when he travels with me. The extra Covid precautions are also much appreciated!! I definitely look forward to staying here every few months.
This was the first time we stayed at a cobblestone. We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. This is our second trip to Ashland. Your town is very welcoming!
Nice little place to stay along Lake Superior. It was a great price for the location. Laundry facility on site was very nice. Rooms were a good size. This hotel was a great last minute find!
