Breathtaking accommodations & perfect location in Woodstock ! Our room was spectacular & cozy & it had everything we needed. Front desk staff are super friendly and informative. We felt very safe and comfortable staying here even through Covid! I will highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique stay !
Nice hotel thats located in the center of town. Located right on the river and offers beautiful landscape views. You are walking distance from restaurants , stores, and more. The interior is nice , but could use some upgrading . The bathroom was a little small, especially the shower . When the hotel filled up, parking was limited and we had to park across the street at the super market. They don't offer many amenities compared to other hotels in the area , and it's a bit pricey for what they offer . I was going to give a 3 star review, but the rooms were very clean and staff were nice , so I gave them a 4 . Wish they had a fire pit for guests out back by the river. All in all it was a good stay , it was clean, and convenient .
Great place to stay in Woodstock. Many rooms have a view of the river behind the property. They have a nice lawn that goes down to the river with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for the visitors to enjoy. Nice staff too.
Great place. Very clean . Short walk to all the restaurants and boutiques . Highly recommend to stay there.
My favorite place to stay! Rooms are always clean, cozy, and inviting. My dog also adores coming to visit and the wonderful treats the front desk offers! I will always recommend The Shire!
