We just got back from spending five wonderful days at The Jackson House Inn and it was AMAZING!! Chris and Matt are outstanding hosts. They were very nice, friendly and took care of us like royalty. The staff is also great. A very beautiful place to stay at when in Woodstock, definitely recommend it.

Such a lovely experience here. The innkeepers were so thoughtful and the rooms were spacious and stylishly appointed. The perfect combination of charming and modern, with every amenity consideration provided. From the welcome caramels in the room to the local bath products, the gorgeous hand-thrown pottery from down the street to the chicken-fresh eggs, we were over the moon. Perfectly tucked a little out of town, providing privacy and tranquility on the grounds, we are counting down the days until we return.

This is where you need to stay. Stop shopping. The Inn is perfectly amazing. Full of little reading rooms you can hide away. Great rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Impeccable decor throughout. Wonderful yard and gardens outside. Close to everywhere you want to be in Woodstock. The food is over the top amazing and unique. The happy hour was a great added bonus to relax and meet fellow travelers. The 24 hour coffee and soda bar was another great touch. But, the thing that sets this place apart is Chris and Matthew. Beautiful people. Crazy kind and gracious hosts. Attending to everything we might need. Super fast responsive via email and texts. And, get this. Our flight was delayed by 5 hours. They both got back up, came out to the car, fetched our stuff and took us on the standard tour of the Inn at 12:30 am. That is so unexpected and inviting! Let them have a chance to wow you too!

My husband and I were looking for a cozy spot to spend a quick trip to Vermont, and came across Woodstock as a location. We eventually chose this inn because it seemed to have everything we wanted at the ideal price point. We honestly couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our first time in Vermont! We are a military family and have traveled quite a bit. The Jackson House Inn is easily one of the BEST experiences we have ever had in our journeys. Matthew and Chris are kind and gracious. They go out of their way to ensure their guests feel welcomed and have anything they could possibly need. Their dedication and attention to the care of their guests is what sets them apart from the rest.nnWe stayed in the Christine Jackson room, which had a lovely gas fireplace and large massage bath tub. I will dream about that bath tub until I see it again! The room was impeccably clean and spacious. The sitting rooms in the inn are inviting and beautifully decorated. The landscape is also cleverly designed to allow guests to enjoy the property with a sense of privacy. Throughout the property they provide hot tea, cocoa, coffee, water, soft drinks, and seltzer water, and an evening tasty treat. My husband's favorite part was the included breakfast. I have to say, this was the best breakfast we have ever had while traveling. It tasted 100% gourmet and did not disappoint. The inn itself is located perfectly for enjoying Woodstock. We were able to visit 7 covered bridges, the Quechee Gorge and village, Sugarbush Farm, Simon Pearce, Farmhouse Pottery, and walk around town all within a day's time. There is so much to do in the area that everyone can find something to their liking.nnWe will definitely be back again and highly recommend staying here!

This place is great. It is real close to town and other sites. We came in November before ski season kicked off. It was pretty quiet. I think the views in fall would be great. This place has been hosted to provide you with a luxurious Vermont feel. The rooms are cost and the staff are friendly. Make sure you get a room with a Jacuzzi tub for that extra relaxation.
