We picked The Aerie because it offered a private indoor pool, no noisy neighbors, gorgeous mountain views, and two master suites. We were surprised and delighted by all the other special touches the owners provided: lots of soft throws for snuggling with books, firewood for the outdoor fire, an assortment of games and puzzles, and pretty much anything else we forgot to pack. The drive to the local ice cream shop was five minutes away, and the town, Woodstock, is as pretty as a New England postcard. My only complaint is that it rained a couple of days, but I don't suppose Kat has a lot of control over that. :-)

Spent Thanksgiving week here and had a wonderful time. The house and property are amazing. The kids all had so much fun in the pool and the adults loved all the space and room the house had to offer. Will definitely stay again. Top of the line everything from kitchen appliances down to bathroom faucets. Beautiful home with everything you'd need to have a great vacation.
