My wife and I did an Impromptu road trip from Southern NH to Windsor - planned to spend some time seeing local sites, visiting Harpoon and the Artisan Village. We could not have had a better experience with Snapdraggon. The Inn was well maintained, the rooms were spacious and well kept (heated bathroom floors was a nice touch). The breakfast items (including fresh waffles batter ready to cook and a solid assortment of fresh fruits) were great. Would have zero issue recommending The Snapdragon to friends

Our 3rd year in the row and we still love Snapdraggon! We drive up from NYC and usually visit around winter holidays and always enjoy our stay. Even though there was a full time keeper (Pecka) the first year we’ve visited who made our experience absolutely amazing we still love the house with no full time staff. It’s actually kind of cool to be on your own there. There is a girl who comes by in the morning to prep breakfast and tidy the place up who does a wonderful job! All the rooms are absolutely spotless and linen smells so fresh! So come with an open mind, don’t expect anyone to greet you and enjoy the freedom and the peaceful environment. We had to leave super early on our departure day and it worked out great that breakfast gets prepped the night before, which wasn’t stale at all like one other review mentioned (but then again, they also complained about the building not having an elevator which is hilarious - a B&B that has an elevator called a hotel) Oh and bathrooms have heated floors!

A lovely pastoral inn.nMy husband and I spent a night here. It is a lovely old inn once owned by the publisher Maxwell Perkins who published works of Hemingway and Fitzgerald. It was converted to an inn in 2007 with 9 bedrooms. The rooms are large with en suite baths and very comfortable. It is run by local women one of whom was Dominique. They were so welcoming, showing us all the rooms with pride. We had hot freshly made chocolate chip cookies and a substantial breakfast. The inn has a lovely library and dining room and is sparkling clean. I highly recommend it. The Artisan Plaza is nearby and worth a visit.
