If you want to getaway from reality and embrace yourself deep in nature then Holiday Inn Club Vacations Mount Ascutney Resort is the place to go. The room was very clear and the staff was friendly & helpful. The fall scene made it a joy to go on a hike and get lost for a couple of hours. I'd definitely will be back for another stay in the near future.

Villas are a great size, ours was 2 floors! It was clean and comfortable. The restaurant is only open for dinner and a bit pricey but worth trying it out. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, delish!! (try the fried dough for dessert!). The staff at the restaurant and front desk were very friendly and helpful.The property is very pretty and family friendly with a playground and indoor pool. Expect to drive a bit to get to anything as this is fairly remote but there is plenty to do within a 30 minute drive. Some of the amenities were closed due to Covid but still has enough to keep busy. I wish the restaurant served more than just dinner. Although the kitchen is well-equipped in the villa, I don't really want to cook on vacation so you need to leave the property if you want to eat out for breakfast or lunch. This is the main reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Rooms are nice, beds aren't uncomfortable at all. And kitchen in the unit. That is the real winner here! The spread-out buildings for the condo units with kitchens are separated from the main building, so it feels removed, which is nice!nnAmazing MTB trails on Ascutney Mtn are not to be missed, for riders of all abilities! Come here and ride bikes! There is also excellent and endless gravel riding in the surrounding towns, accessible from the Resort! Come ride here for a weekend or a whole week, depending on how many types of bikes you want to bring with you!nnThe Butcher & Pantry located across the stream from the Resort (there's a bridge in the lower meadow!) in Brownsville has all the things to sate your weekend or vacation food desires.nnWe've been a number of times and we'll be back again!
