House of Seven Gables

Best experience ever.nMy husband and I stayed on the third floor of this precious Bed and Breakfast.nEvery thing about this respite is warm and welcoming.nLani and Kathy Janesse were so and accommodating to our wants and needs.nEvery room is beautifully decorated and comfortable for relaxing and or if need be to catch up on work..and yes there is WI-fi.nBay windows, and all through the house the original intricate hand carved beauty of wood construction before power tools!nThough I am mobility challenged we stayed on the third floor, though there are no elevators, it was worth the climb to our comfortable room.nThe room we stayed in had a private bath, as do several rooms, some don't, but there are community bathrooms on every floor easy to access. Some have walk in showers and others tub shower combo.nOur room had a King size bed and georgepus antique dresser with multi-mirrors, quilt rack, drum table, comfortable high back chairs, night tables (with phone chargers on both sides, and a georgepus cedar chestnAll the rooms are different in size but have their own unique character. There are many outside sitting places either by the pool, on a porch, or by the wishing well. In door there are very cozy sitting rooms downstairs two with fireplaces and one on the second floor with a coffee center, large comfy seating and a big screen tv.nBecause of the great location we were able to visit King Arthur Flour, Quechee George and an Farmers market in on afternoon. On another excursion we went to Woodstock, Dartmouth and all the fun shopping in town!nSo much to see and do here especially as the leaves come to full color in the fall.
