Steve and Caroline are most gracious hosts! Always enjoy our stays here.
We arrived late after check in and they were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean and were the perfect fit for our group. The breakfast was delicious and Steve and Caroline made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay there again!!
This place is very cute and quiet. It's a British couple that operate it exclusively and you HAVE to stay for the hot breakfast! The rooms are big enough and you never have to worry about the water not being hot enough (I know a lot of travelers who require extremely hot showers). It's very laid back and family friendly. There's a pool, hot tub and very nice, small play space for the kids. If we're ever in the area again, we won't stay anywhere else. Loved it!!
I love Big Bears Lodge! The place is always clean and Steve & Caroline are gracious hosts. I come with a ski group every February. In fact, I will be there tomorrow! I would recommend Big Bears to anyone, no matter the time of year.
Best place to stay in west dover! Stayed in the bedroom with the king bed (room 19). Spacious! Steve and Caroline were great hosts and a wonderful breakfast each morning. Great location for going to Mt. Snow (about 1/2 mile to the turnoff) for skiing, snowboarding or snowmobiling. Will book all my vacations for west dover there!
