Stayed for three nights and ate dinner here all three nights. Restaurant is so pretty with big fireplace. Restaurant service was perfect, attentive, knowledgeable, and not overbearing. Food was delicious from beginning to end, and they have an awesome drink and wine menu.nInn itself is clean, kept up and super charming. Plenty of coffee, hot water for showers, nice grab and go breakfast due to covid. Firepit outside, and outdoor gym that's adorable, and indoor gym too. Beautiful location in a very small, quite town. Nice drive to Manchester and tins of hiking nearby. Also, a surprisingly good hiking trail in their own backyard that's not crowded and it pretty challenging in parts. Beautiful stream on the ground where you can sit in Adirondack chairs and enjoy.nI highly recommend for peaceful, pampering retreat.
We loved this place! Such a cozy town and and what an amazing room! We only stayed one night but we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and cheese platter. We had dinner at a quaint table by the stream at the edge of the lawn then enjoyed a hike through quiet trails behind the inn. All around a delightful stay and will definitely be returning!
Wonderful cozy Vermont Country INN atmosphere, with a fireplace too. Nice selection of wines and food choices. Very attentive and knowledgeable wait staff.
Chef Ralph is in the house. And he is taking this place to a whole other level. This is a must eat locale now
Stopped by to have lunch. When lunch was not being served, we decided to make a dinner reservation. No one was there but a very nice cleaning woman who took our info and said she would relay the message and someone would get back to us. When we did not receive a call back by 4pm, my husband called to find out the status of our reservation. Whoever answered the phone very rudely stated 6:15, take it or leave it. We left it and who ever he was speaking with abruptly hung up on him. Have dined at this establishment many times, but after no call back and the rudeness of whoever answered the phone, not sure we care to return.
