Great place to stay-we loved it! Comrade and pat were incredible hosts and their place is beautiful. Very comfortable beds with everything you need in the rooms - Fridge, wine opener, extra sheets, fans, ironing board, towels, drinks, you name it! Breakfast was made to order and was INCREDIBLE! Made with local farm fresh ingredients! Will definitely be returning!’

I had friends visiting from out of town and wasn't able to accommodate them, so I booked a room for them at The One Cat. It was such a positive experience that they ended up extending their stay by several days to continue staying at The One Cat! The space is so cozy and quaint and extremely convenient to downtown. The proprietors were the nicest people; incredible warm and generous with their time and their space. They even invited me to join my friends for breakfast each morning of their stay and cooked us the most delicious food--accommodating our special diets and preferences--and included homemade bread and local fruits and vegetables. I look forward to having more friends and family visit so I can put them up at The One Cat. Really awesome place and I HIGHLY recommend!

Small, quaint, perfectly located BnB. The Brighten room king size bed is both soft and supportive. Books galore and comfy places to relax and read. Delicious hot breakfast. Detail we much appreciated were reading lights above each side of the bed.nHosts, Pat and Conrad, were attentive and made us feel at home.nWe've already made return reservations!!

Our first trip to Brattleboro (much less Vermont) was treated with amazing hospitality, a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, and an outstanding room. Currently working on their first year in business, owners Pat & Conrad went above and beyond to make our stay warm and welcoming. From delicious breakfasts in the morning (complete with bread made by Conrad - BRAVO!) to cool sleeping at nights (complete with plenty of great films should you find it raining). This was a literal diamond discovery. Highly suggested and a welcomed B&B for the traveler. We cannot wait to return!

My wife and I had a great time at The One Cat (number of cats may vary)! There were two very friendly cats when we stayed there. I'm allergic to some cats, but neither of these cats caused me any issues whatsoever. They keep the place very clean. We asked about swimming holes in area, but they didn't know of any. When we returned from dinner they had left a Vermont guide book out for us bookmarked to the swimming holes. Breakfast was fantastic! They have some very nice common areas including a little library/reading room. Our bedroom was beautiful, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend staying at The One Cat!
