Inn on Putney Road Bed and Breakfast

My wife and six month old son recently visited family in Brattleboro and chose The Inn on Putney Road for our overnight stay, and it truly was a great experience!nnPrior to our stay, the communication and booking process were extremely easy, and Paul & Judy helped guide us on accommodating our six month old in one of the carriage house rooms. We were a bit nervous about bringing a six moth old to a B&B, but the experience was more than positive!nnUpon arrival, our stay was immediately relaxed and low key, thanks to Paul. We felt more than comfortable with the cleanliness of every space at the Inn and the precautions in place related to COVID-19. Our room in the carriage house was great! The main house - the Inn itself - is really cool, too, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We had everything we needed, and more (they had snacks in the room, as well as hand sanitizer, bug spray, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash readily available).nnOur breakfast the next morning was fantastic! Paul prepared a delicious three course meal: homemade muffins featuring local peaches; a homemade strawberry and kiwi yogurt parfait; finally, the main breakfast course was a swiss chard and roasted tomato omelette with ricotta, along with bacon and braised beets & shallots. It was memorable enough for us to remember the details, that's for sure!nnWith family in the area, returning to the Inn on Putney Road is a no-brainer. Even if they did not live in Brattleboro, I can truthfully say that we would look forward to returning either way.nnThank you again, Paul, and we look forward to hopefully meeting Judy next time!

Stayed here two weekends ago the experience was great.nnThe weather was beautiful, the inn itself was gorgeous, and we had a wonderful time hiking the grounds and surrounding trails.nnThat doesn't even touch on the fantastic breakfast they made each time and the simple room amenities like the sweets that were in there. The rooms were the perfect size and had this old inn classy feeling.nnThe staff was super friendly also and you can walk right to downtown Brattleboro, which we did! Can't recommend this place enough.

What a beautiful Inn!nThe Inn, grounds and town are all fabulous.nThe inn keepers, Judy and Paul are consummate hosts, but not invasive. The rooms are perfectly appointed, clean and unbelievably comfortable. The Breakfasts by Paul are beyond delicious. We will definitely return!nI can't say enough good things about the Inn at Putney Rd

What a fantastic inn! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Paul's breakfast masterpieces are worth it enough to stay (seriously, you need the brûléed grapefruit and any of the frittatas in your life ASAP!). The rooms were classic New England and very comfortable. The inn itself is in a great location. Go check out the back view from the gazebo. Just book it. Go. Right now.

A wonderfully solid and majestic inn, well thought out in every detail. Very friendly and thoughtful hosts, beautiful grounds, great location. 5 star in every respect. Cannot wait to return.
