My wife and I returned to the Crosby House for our 1st wedding anniversary, after having stayed there on our honeymoon. Maria, the innkeeper, is warmhearted and genuine, makes a guest feel very much at home, and creates an outstanding breakfast, with great attention to detail. Guests enter through the kitchen, and the smell of fresh-baked cookies hits you immediately, which makes it feel like you're staying overnight at your grandmother's house. Can't say enough good things about the Crosby House. We plan on returning for every anniversary.
The 1868 Crosby house is an amazing bed and breakfast. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is absolutely amazing! The rooms are very nice and the beds are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice with excellent showers and it includes nice towels. There's plenty of open common space for sitting and relaxing throughout the house. I would highly recommend this place!
Very nice location convenient to I-91 and the venue we were going to for a concert. Maria is a wonderful hostess. The breakfast was great. The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom was large and very clean.
We had a wonderful time at the Crosby House! The house was lovely, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, the staff were friendly and VERY helpful, and the location was absolutely perfect! There is access to some lovely trails off the back of the property and downtown Brattleboro is an easy walk! We'll definitely be back!
marie is very welcoming ..easy to talk with ... offers good information.. a delight....nthe room and available porch were wonderful. inviting and comfortable spaces. our breakfasts were beautifully served and were excellent. and the grounds are spacious and ...again... beautiful. i would choose 1868 again!!!!! 5 stars.
