1824 Inn was the perfect location for exploring VT. The property is beautiful - well maintained, decorated, cozy and clean. The owners are exceptionally gracious and kind - offering recommendations for things to see and do in the area, and accommodating our pup Otis during our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - the best we’ve ever had at a b&b - with locally sourced eggs, bread, and other ingredients - my favorite was the poached egg bowl with potatoes and sautéed kale! We are looking forward to staying again soon!
Adorable place to stay. Staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic (I especially appreciated the gluten free options! Pancakes were a treat). Room was clean and cozy. The living room was a nice place to spend time and play some games in front of the fireplace. We loved our stay and will happily return for our next ski trip.
Couldn't have had a more pleasant stay. Sean and Farrell, the innkeepers, were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. And the common space was inviting - a great place to spend time visiting with friends and family. Plus, the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely look to stay again in the future.
I stayed here and attended a wedding at the inn.nnTHE ROOM: The room was very cute and quaint. The linens are amazing. I was a home away from home.nnTHE STAFF: Sean and Farrell are amazing and extremely accommodating. They have a lot of experience and although out group made a lot of unique requests, they were willing to work with us to ensure that everyone was comfortable.nnBREAKFAST: They have several options for such a small operation. During our stay, we tried almost everything on the menu and everything was wonderful.nnTHE PROPERTY: The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. It snowed while we were there and the property looked like a real life snow globe.
Sean and Farrell were amazing! This was a surprise trip for my husband for his birthday and we had a fabulous time at the house. It was 10-15 minutes from all the restaurants we ate at and the same from Sugarbush Mountain, where we skied two days. We felt comfortable and safe as there was a lock on your door with your own code. Breakfast was great; each morning I tried something different. We even made a fire one night! Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a nice long weekend away!
