Charming! Love the owners, the rooms, the hospitality! And location is perfect to walk to everything.
I came here to ski st Sugarbush and chose to stay at The Waitsfield Inn. I must say, that was a great decision! It’s in a beautiful old Vermont house which has been completely outfitted with modern amenities and exudes a warm and comfortable atmosphere, both figuratively and literally. I stayed in the Emeline Room, which was charming, and got to take a peek at some other rooms on checkout day. All unique and well decorated. Even sleeping lofts in two of the rooms! The hosts/owners, Vickie and Jon, are really nice and so welcoming, and I enjoyed chatting with them. Both from Southern California, they chose to live in a four-season environment and settled on Waitsfield, VT. Breakfasts are delicious, and they even have a cozy bar for guests who prefer to prefer to stay in or have a nightcap. I highly recommend this establishment!
Nice place and comfortable. They serve breakfast a set menu, that is not flexible. The breakfast of a hot food is not kid friendly. Good for older crowd. It has a family room that kids would like with games and a tv. However there us only one tv in family room. Also, they don't always fully clean the rooms.
Nice property, the owner was super friendly and nice. Very accommodating allowing me a late checkout and the chance to shower and clean up before driving back to the DC area. Rooms have everything you need, bed was comfortable, property was clean and well kept. Absolutely, recommend this as a place to stay if you are in the area.
