My husband and I have stayed here several times in the past several years, and have always received stellar service from Andrew, Heather & staff. I recently had a situation occur with a booking that I made in error at a different place, and Andrew upon learning of it went above and beyond to help us. He is the reason why we keep coming back. Their rooms are immaculate, food is always fresh (great coffee BTW), and we love the pub area with great cocktails, craft beer, shuffleboard and cozy couches perfect for lounging ♡

What a superb dinner. We sat in the pavilion, which was gorgeous. Also, in this age of taking-your-life-in-your-hands-by-leaving-your-house, it felt really safe. The tables are well spaced, and the open-sided pavilion allowed for plenty of fresh air to flow through. The charming staff lit propane heaters when the temps dropped, adding to the ambiance. Our meal was scrumptious, starting with a beautiful salad of local vegetables, large enough for two of us to share and still feel like we got our veggies. The wild salmon on cauliflower puree was out of this world, and the brisket sandwich on freshly baked naan was fantastic. We can't wait to go back. Kudos MRB!

We had the absolute BEST girls weekend away at MRB!!! Andrew & his entire staff we’re welcoming, incredibly helpful and went above & beyond to ensure we had a nice stay. On top of that, the food at the restaurant was so tasty, the linens & bed were incredibly comfortable and the location was so beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a great meal last night at Mad River Barn. Unfortunately, our seating was a big disappointment. Our party of 3 was seated at a table suitable for 2. Two tables of 2 were seated after us at 4 tops. With COVID restrictions in place, we had a reservation. When we asked if we could be seated at a more appropriate table we were told there were larger parties coming. Subsequently the 2 parties of 2 were seated.
