We had a fantastic time! We are a family of 4 (kids were 3.5 years and 10 months old) that stayed a night in the tree house. We spent the day exploring the grounds and hiked up to the Sky Loft. In the evening, we went into town and grabbed dinner but brought it back and ate it in front of the warm stove. It was a chilly night but we stayed warm with the hot outdoor shower and warm flannel sheets. The next morning we had tree service (breakfast delivered to us). Even with our two kids we had a relaxing time. The service was outstanding (seriously, beyond expectations!) and we are still talking about our night in the tree house almost a month later. We plan to visit again, especially when our youngest is a bit older so he also has memories!

Moose Meadow is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. From the fun woodsy decor, the delicious breakfast made every morning, to the trails that lead to a breathtaking view, this place just doesn't get any better!! Greg and Willie were the most amazing hosts offering anything you need with a smile. If you're teetering with the idea of booking, just do it. You WILL NOT be disappointed!!

WHAT. AN. AMAZING. STAY!! Must I say, this lodge is more than a place to stay. It’s an experience I’m so blessed to have had. Upon arrival until our departure, Greg and Willie were there when anything is needed or they can be of assistance and yet you are free to roam the lodge as it’s your own. I plan to visit multiple times a year and look forward to my adventures on and off the property! Johnny & Katie

Me and my husband stayed here for a few days in February for our babymoon and we can’t stop raving about it ! If you’re coming to Vermont you have to stay here. The grounds are beautiful - we wish we had more time to explore them. The lodge itself was adorable and so cozy. Our room was super clean and comfortable (we stayed in the creel room). Breakfast in the morning was really delicious and also the owner was fantastic about accommodating dietary restrictions. We didn’t have any but we noticed he had options for both gluten free and lactose free diets and I’m sure would have accommodated any other needs. We had the pleasure of meeting Willie and his friend Gerry who was helping out in Greg’s absence. They were such friendly and gracious hosts. Willie really makes you feel at home! We enjoyed chatting with them at night before heading to bed. The location is also fantastic- close to Montpellier , Burlington, and Stowe and a few minutes drive into Waterbury town center; so there is plenty to do. We can’t wait to return in the future!
