Exceptional staff! Remodeled to Hilton standards all new. Except the ceiling tiles. They were freshly painted over. It's odd to me that these newly updated hotels across the country seem to skimp on the ceilings? It's what guests see and look at immediately. Sheet rock/drywall is so inexpensive too. It's like getting a full face lift and not addressing the neck. lol. I just don't get it? Anyways..the contractor needs to address paint on sprinklers aka the finish work. Not hotels fault.. it's lazy rushed contract work. If they were working on any of my properties...I'd be on them big time.nnVery cozy beds. Awesome water pressure in shower!! Only thing I could recommend is...the bathroom mirrors are not tall enough or they were hung too low by hired contractors. My husband's entire head was completely out of view in the mirror..lol..watching him try to shave was hilarious.

A great experience all around, we cannot wait to come back and visit again! The hotel is older but updated in a very classy way and the staff was so helpful and polite! The entire hotel is spotless, everything was in its place and I had no doubt everything was sanitized.nnMy advice is to reserve a room early, otherwise you'll be looking out to the parking lot. Not the worst, unless you care about the view. We didn't mind and the bed was comfortable, which I think is more important.nnThere was an issue with our remote and we couldn't pick a channel, we could only change it up or down. The televisions are enormous and it still worked, though. The shower sprayers and faucet had some build-up (sometimes happens over time depending on the water and is not a ding on the housekeeping but more of a deep cleaning issue) and I wasn't able to use all the settings on the shower because the water sprayed everywhere. It wasn't a deal breaker, so I mentioned it to the front desk in the morning and they sent someone to check on it immediately, which was impressive!nnOverall a great stay, 10/10, will definitely be back soon, thanks!

lovely rooms, very clean and quite cognizant of Covid cleaning and safety for all guests and staff. Fabulous restaurant, J. Morgans , on premises. The best place to stay in Montpelier for certain.
