Tim sold me, my wife and our family bikes and a buggy this summer, so our little one could join us on our rides. He was kind, informative and honest. It was a pleasure to get to know him and his shop and have our bikes taken care of there while we lived in Poultney. If you are anywhere near Hampton (Fort Ann, Whitehall, Poultney, Rutland) and you want a unique, family bike shop, go to Johnson and Son's. It's great.
Tim is a great guy and cares about his customers. Awesome used bike selection too! Quick repairs . Best shop in area.
Great place to buy a reasonably priced bike!
Tim is a diamond in the rough. We had a great experience renting bikes for our family of 7 - ranging in age from 41 to 6 - and hitting the D&H Rail Trail which starts a little over a mile from the shop. He even through in a kids bike that we tied to the back of the caboose of our 6 year old daughter - and she wound up riding it 8 miles down the trail! Tim wouldn't accept payment for it - and the rentals were already the lowest price I've ever paid. My family had an amazing afternoon thanks to Tim's patience and guidance. He also returned my voicemail on a day that the shop was closed so we could properly plan our week. Service excellence personified.
