This is a hidden gem. On Killington Rd. need I say more. Simple and very reasonably priced. Staff was super nice. Very convenient. Safe, quiet, basic. Not super fancy but nice. Stayed with kids aged 9,11, and 13 and were fine. Great place to crash and ski. I will stay again in the future.
The hotel is cheap. I'll give it that, but I wouldn't advise anyone to book there. Sleeping there was terrible since the pillows are flat and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Also, there were mouse droppings in the kitchenette area and a dead roach belly-up in the bathroom. After staying there, I saw the reviews about bedbugs as well. So while the mouse droppings in my room were revolting, I guess I should be thankful I didn't get eaten alive by bedbugs and leave with an infestation. Either way, if you can, just pay a bit more for peace-of-mind
The Hillside Inn really delivers value for the location near Killington. The rooms have recently been renovated and are clean and spacious, with a mini kitchen. The staff were very helpful and even kindly sent to us a jacket that we left in the room.

This place is great. You can't really beat the price for being right there on the mountain. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Get better towels. Outdated / uncomfortable bedding. Still worth it.
