Snowed Inn

Our stay was great. I wish they would remove the hot tub from the listing, because it’s closed. (Yet some hotels have it open now, so I didn’t know at the time I booked)

Impeccably clean and hospitable. I'd recommend staying here.

We stayed here for three nights and it was wonderful. The room had the basics and was a decent size. We didn't spend much time in our room so it was more than sufficient. The breakfast provided is a great light breakfast to start an active day.nThe building itself is beautiful, and the outside lights at night put it over the top. We were unsure about an outdoor hot tub in the winter but it turned out to be a very cool experience. The lounge is very nice and the staff will get a fire going in the fireplace if desired. Overall the staff was very accommodating and provided several good suggestions/recommendations. It is also within walking distance of a few good restaurants and a grocery store for those who prefer to avoid driving. We'll definitely stay here the next time we're in town!

We stayed here for 5 days and it couldn't have been better!nThe people working at the Snowed Inn are very friendly and accommodating to their guests. Multiple times we got directions and advice from them about places around Killington. They would also wait for us if we go too late for breakfast. Then, after a long day of skiing, they would welcome us to the Inn with freshly baked cookies!nThe snowed Inn is very cozy both on the inside and outside. We got an excellent room for two with a fireplace. The fireplace was not only very aesthetic, but also useful as it can make the room warm quickly after you have been out in the cold during the day. (Tip: don't leave the fireplace on for too long unless you want to turn your entire room into a sauna:))nFinally, the location of the Snowed Inn is very convenient. It is a walking distance away from at least 10 restaurants (we tried 4 different ones and all were great). Also, the hotel is on the main axis, which means that you have to cover less than 50m to hop on a bus (The Bus) to the skiing area or Rutland.nThank you, Snowed Inn!

The hotel itself looks very nice outside, just like in a fairytale. We stayed here for as a mini trip vacation to ski.nWe first were offered a room that was small and had no bathtub. Apart from that the room was very dusty and we had to clean it ourself. There were light bulbs missing, one in the bathroom and one in the room. After my fiancé addressed this with the front desk we were offered a better room upstairs.nThe room was about the same size but better maintained and with tub.nnThe hotel looks very nice from the inside. However they can improve their breakfast.... the juice tasted like it was from concentrate, the hard boiled eggs were cold, and there wears just not enough breakfast for the amount of people that were staying in the hotel. When we asked the staff we were told that there is more food if you come earlier ....nOne of the main reason why we picked Snowed In. Over Airbnb is because of breakfast... so I was extremely disappointed with the fact that their breakfast was lacking...nAlso, at night few hours after it started snowing, there was no one to shovel the snow upfront.... climbing the stairs to enter to hotel was not safe...nnOtherwise location is great, very close to everything you need including the killington resort :)nnResponding back to owners comments: We did not arrive in the middle of a two day winter storms. We came one the night before the winter storm :) As the snow started piling there was no one for hours to shovel it! Huge liability for you guys!!!
