one star is generous -- we travel here for a second time because the first was pleasant -- this time -- it was a visit to a house of horror! The inn keeper was unpleasant and unprofessional, the place was filthy and kitchen has bugs and dirty dishes everywhere -- after they served muffins to our door -- we were afraid to eat them due to the condition of this unkept place. The saving grace is the inkeepers wife -- she is pleasant and has to deal with her bad behaved husband. Never again and told all our friends about this place and not to go there -- buyer beware here.

The great in and due to covid,we had the whole place to ourselves.
Large comfortable room, beautiful views and setting, comfy bed. One of the best meals we've ever had... ANYWHERE ... perfectly cooked sole with lemon and capers, and delicious scallops with caramelized bacon, wonderful sides too!
Very cozy little inn right on the beautiful lake, and the restaurant was AMAZING!!!!! One of the most juicy steaks we've ever had, scallops were over the top. Great service as well. Thank you so much for a lovely get away.
